This month, we’re doing something a little different—and a little special.
We’ve partnered with the New Zealand Riding for the Disabled (NZRDA), an organisation that uses therapeutic horse riding and connection to help people living with disability across Aotearoa, New Zealand. They do incredible work. And we want to help.
NZRDA runs therapeutic horse riding programmes across the country, helping people improve their emotional and physical strength through the joy of horse riding. It’s hard not to be moved by what they do.
Each rider in NZRDA’s therapy programme works alongside an NZ-registered therapist and a qualified RDA coach to achieve goals tailored to their individual needs. These goals might include improving muscle strength, coordination, balance, or even walking ability. Many riders use wheelchairs and have higher support needs, but in the saddle, they’re moving, stretching, and building strength in ways that feel natural and empowering.
NZRDA also offers an education programme for school-aged riders, aligned with their Individual Education Plans. These sessions help develop key skills like literacy and numeracy in a hands-on, adaptable, and empowering environment.
The final programme is sport and recreational riding, which offers exercise, active recreation, and leisure activities in a challenging, fun, and supportive environment.
At New Zealand Riding for the Disabled, they celebrate every individual’s unique abilities and focus on building capability, capacity, and strength beyond perceived limitations. Riders learn to move, adapt, and succeed. This leads to a stronger sense of self that translates beyond the arena and into homes, schools, and communities.
Between the 21st of July and the 27th of July, all net proceeds from Race Pass purchases in our Disability Pride Event will be donated to NZRDA.
If you’re picking up a Race Pass during this time, you’ll be helping fund riding therapy and education programmes for people living with disability across New Zealand. It’s a small action that supports something meaningful, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who gets involved.
You’ll still receive exciting in-game rewards—including custom tack, pasture space, a stall, and a Grade 5 Thoroughbred horse designed specifically for this event, and your participation will go toward something that matters beyond the game.
We’re really proud to be celebrating Disability Pride Month with NZRDA and our amazing player community.
The event starts on July 21st, and Race Pass holders will have the chance to earn some great rewards—custom tack, pasture space, a stall, and a beautiful Thoroughbred horse. More importantly, every Race Pass purchased helps support NZRDA’s work across the country.
